Delhi nursery, KG, Class 1 admission 2023 registration begins today; Apply by Dec 23

Parents, guardians must note that the last date to apply for Delhi Nursery admission is December 23, 2022. No applications will be accepted without registration fee.

Delhi Nursery admission 2023: The Directorate of Education (DoE) Delhi is all set to commence the registration process for Delhi Nursery admission 2023 from today, i.e. December 1, 2022. DoE will release the first list of selected children for entry-level classes for over 1,800 private schools on January 20, 2023. With regards to the commencement of the Nursery admission process in Delhi, the DoE has also released the complete admission schedule for entry-level classes for open seats in private unaided recognised schools of Delhi for the session 2023-24. Meanwhile, the criteria for Delhi Nursery admission 2023 will be uploaded on November 28, 2022.

Parents, guardians must note that the last date to apply for Delhi Nursery admission is December 23, 2022. No applications will be accepted without a registration fee. To register for Nursery classes parents have to pay INR 25 as a non-refundable registration fee. DoE Delhi will release the first list of selected children on January 20, 2023. The second selection list including waiting list will be displayed on February 6, 2023. The admission process for the academic session 2023-24 will close on March 17, 2022. The number of seats at the entry level will not be less than the highest number of seats in entry level classes during the last three academic years, 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23, DoE said. Age limit for Delhi nursery and Class 1 admission 2023 fixed by the directorate is as follows.

• For pre-school (nursery): Less than 4 years as on March 31 of the year admission is sought.
• For pre-primary (KG): Less than 5 years as on March 31 of the year admission is sought.
• For Class 1: Less than 6 years as on March 31 of the year admission is sought.
