BITS Design School B.Des (Hons) Admission 2025: Last date to apply is Jan 31

BIT S Design School admissions process is based on a holistic assessment that includes scores from either the NID DAT Prelims, UCEED, or the BITS Design Aptitude Test (BITSDAT). Candidates applying with NID DAT Prelims or UCEED scores must submit their BITS Design School application by the January 31 deadline

BITS Design School (BITSDES) is accepting applications for its 4-year residential Bachelor of Design (Honours) programme. According to the official schedule, the last date to submit the applications is January 31, 2025. Aspiring students are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline to secure a chance at joining the second cohort of the program.

BITS Design School’s B Des (Hons) Programme Specializations

The B Des (Hons) programme at BITSDES offers a unique and diverse set of specializations to students. With an intake capacity of 180 students, the programme offers five distinct pathways:

1. Physical Product Design
2. Digital Product Design (UX/UI)
3. Design Research and Insights
4. Experience Design
5. Visual Design

This comprehensive curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the ever-evolving field of design, blending theory with hands-on experience.

BIT Design School Application Process for B.Des (Hons) 2025

The admissions process is based on a holistic assessment that includes scores from either the NID DAT Prelims, UCEED, or the BITS Design Aptitude Test (BITSDAT). Candidates applying with NID DAT Prelims or UCEED scores must submit their BITS Design School application by the January 31 deadline. During this process, applicants can use their NID DAT Prelim or UCEED registration numbers or roll numbers for submission.

For those who choose to take the BITS Design Aptitude Test (BITSDAT), the test will be held from March 31 to April 5, 2025. The BITSDAT is a 60-minute test comprising multiple-choice questions focused on general aptitude and design concepts.

BITS Design School Admission 2025: Important Dates

• Application Deadline: January 31, 2025
• BITSDAT Test Dates: March 31 – April 5, 2025
• Shortlisted Candidates List Announcement: April 14, 2025
• Portfolio Upload and Online Interviews: May 2 – May 12, 2025
