CEED 2021: PwD candidates to apply for extra time

CEED 2021 notification has been released by IIT Bombay. As per the latest information, candidates who have applied for CEED exam under the PwD category can apply for compensatory time by December 24, 2020.

 The two conditions to meet for extra time under the PwD category in CEED 2021 is as mentioned below:

  • If an aspirant used compensatory time in the exam without a valid PwD certificate, then he/she can’t be rolled back to Birth Category(GN/Open/OBC-NCL/SC/ST).
  • Compensatory time for Part-A & Part-B is not interchangeable/adjustable.

CEED 2021 Cutoff

Marks in Part A of CEED exam are used to shortlist candidates. CEED cut-off for Part A marks that is used to shortlist candidates from the open category is X + y Ξ£, where X is the average marks obtained by all candidates in Part A, Ξ£ is the standard deviation, and y is a factor decided based on the total number of seats.

CEED cut-off for shortlisting candidates of the OBC-NCL category will be 90% of the Open category. The cut-offs for shortlisting candidates of SC, ST, and PWD categories will be 50% of the Open category.

But this shortlisting criteria will be used subject to the condition that the aspirants should secure the below-mentioned minimum marks or more in Part A of the CEED exam.
