The application form for CEED 2024 is currently open online at ceed.iitb.ac.in. Before applying for admission, it is important that the candidate goes through the detailed eligibility criteria, which include age limit, no. of attempts, qualifying exam passed, etc.
IIT Bombay released the application form for CEED 2024 on October 3, 2023. The application is for admission to the M.Des program offered by participating colleges. The eligibility criteria for the exam are also available now on the CEED 2024 admission portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in. It is necessary that the candidate meets the eligibility criteria for appearing in the exam, as otherwise their applications may be rejected.
Among the important eligibility conditions that the candidate must fulfill in order to appear in the exam are
- Age limit - There is no age limit for appearing in the CEED 2024 exam.
- Number of attempts - Unlike UCEED, there is no limit on the number of times the candidate can appear for CEED. Note that one is allowed to appear in the UCEED exam a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years.
- Academic qualification - The candidate must have completed a degree, diploma, or postgraduate degree of a minimum of THREE years (after the 10+2 level). No minimum marks have been prescribed.
- Those appearing in the qualifying exam in 2024 - Candidates appearing for the final exam of degree, diploma, or postgraduate degree by July 2024, or who would pass the GD Arts diploma program (10+5 level) by July 2024 may also apply.
Institute-specific CEED 2024 eligibility criteria
Please note that the participating institutes may have their own admission eligibility criteria. These criteria may vary from those prescribed for appearing in the CEED 2024 exam.
So, it is recommended that the candidate check the eligibility criteria drafted by the participating colleges as well.
