NID DAT 2025 Exam Analysis: The National Institute of Design conducted the NID DAT 2025 Prelims exam today January 5, 2025, from 10 am to 1 pm. The NID DAT exam was held for three hours and is divided into two sections: Part I and Part II. NID DAT 2025 was conducted in a paper-and-pencil/pen format and features both textual and visual questions.

According to student feedback, the drawing section of the NID DAT was slightly challenging, particularly in terms of demonstrating creativity and uniqueness. However, they completed the NID DAT paper on time. The overall difficulty level of NID DAT paper was moderate as per the students who took the exam.

• One of the students shared that each question in the NID DAT was divided into multiple parts. However, overall, the paper was well-balanced. He also mentioned that this was his first attempt at the NID DAT for the B.Des program.
• Another student shared that the paper was quite good, and he attempted every question. While he found the exam manageable and not overly difficult, he admitted struggling with the drawing section. However, he successfully completed the logic and reasoning section. According to him, the paper was fairly lengthy, with only a few math-related questions but some logo-based questions as well.
• Another first-time NID DAT candidate described the paper as moderate in difficulty. She mentioned that the questions included tasks related to posters and scenes, requiring candidates to explain specific situations. According to her, the overall difficulty level was easy, but she was unable to attempt one question.
• Another student described the paper as moderately difficult and shared that he had prepared by practicing previous years' NID DAT question papers. He also discussed the drawing section, mentioning that one of the questions required candidates to design a game based on a given paragraph.

• Another student shared that she found the paper to be good overall, but the drawing section was particularly challenging for her. She felt the prompts in the NID DAT 2025 drawing section were too general for an exam of this level, making it essential to approach them uniquely to stand out. Despite the difficulty, she managed to complete the paper 5 to 10 minutes ahead of time.

   

• Another student stated that the NID DAT paper was overall good, but she found the drawing section a bit unusual. One of the drawing questions required creating a poster for a crow wanting to drink juice. While the paper wasn't particularly difficult, the questions were quite out-of-the-box.
