NID PhD Interview Admit Card 2025: The National Institute of Design (NID) has released the interview admit card for NID PhD Admission 2025 Round 2. Candidates seeing NID Admission 2025 for PhD Programme must note that PhD Admission 2025 Interview Admit Card is out online at https://admissions.nid.edu/NIDA2025/Default.aspx. 

NID PhD Admission 2025: How to download admit card for Interview?

Candidates may follow the steps listed below to check and download the NID PhD Admission 2025 Round 2 Interview Admit Card:

Step 1: Go to the official NID Admission 2025 portal; i.e. https://admissions.nid.edu/NIDA2025/Default.aspx

Step 2: Click on the link that reads, “PhD Admissions 2024-25 (Round 02): Admit Card for Interviews”

Step 3: The link will be redirected to a login window

Step 4: Login using official credentials such as email and date of birth

Step 5: Verify the details and login to download the hall ticket

Step 6: Save NID PhD Admit Card 2025 for interview

It must be notes that no candidate will be allowed to appear for the NID PhD Admission 2025 Round 2 Interview without the admit card.

NID PhD Programme 2025

The National Institute of Design (NID) offers candidates the opportunity to pursue a PhD in either full-time or part-time formats.

Full-time PhD

• Residence Requirement: Full-time candidates must remain on campus for the entire duration of their doctoral study.

• Duration: The maximum duration for a full-time PhD is 3 years. This can be extended up to 5 years, subject to a formal application by the candidate and approval by their guide and co-guide.

• Eligibility for Financial Support: Occasionally, the Institute may offer financial support if such resources become available. In these instances, only full-time candidates are eligible to apply for this support.

Part-time PhD

• Residence Requirement: Part-time candidates must be present on campus for scheduled coursework, seminars, and other academic activities that require in-person attendance.

• Duration: The maximum duration for a part-time PhD is 5 years, which can be extended up to 7 years, contingent upon a formal application by the candidate and endorsement from their guide and co-guide.

• Employer’s No-Objection Certificate (NOC): Candidates who are employed elsewhere and wish to apply for the part-time PhD programme must submit a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer. The NOC should confirm that the employer has no objections to the candidate pursuing the PhD at NID and agrees to allow the candidate to attend in-person or online doctoral consultations, coursework, seminars, and other activities as required by the Institute. The NOC must be submitted no later than the acceptance of the admission offer.

• Eligibility for Financial Support: Part-time candidates are NOT eligible for any financial support from the Institute.

Part-time candidates will be subject to all the rules and regulations of the Institute.
