Various reports suggest that students found NIFT CAT comparatively easier than last year but the GAT questions are tricky.
NIFT 2021: National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT 2021) successfully conducted its entrance exams in two slots on February 14. According to NIFT 2021 official schedule, the entrance exam authority conducted NIFT Creative Ability Test (CAT) from 10 am to 1 pm and General Ability Test (GAT) from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Various reports suggest that students found CAT comparatively easier than last year but the GAT questions are tricky. It also states finishing the pen-and-paper exam within the given time limit of two hours was a struggle for candidates Due to the second section.
Various NIFT 2021 analysis reports state that the NIFT BDes General Ability Test (GAT) was moderately difficult. The paper was divided into five sections. While the questions were tricky, the Quantitative Ability was difficult and the English Comprehensions were said to be easier. Meanwhile, the questions in the General Knowledge and Current Affairs sections were easy to moderate.
Compared to NIFT GAT, candidates found that NIFT CAT was easier than the previous years. NIFT CAT had a total of 3 questions for maximum 100 marks.
What after NIFT 2021 exam?
Now, to help candidates analyze their performance, the authority will release NIFT 2021 Answer Key on February 17 on the official website, i.e. nift.ac.in. NIFT results are expected to be announced by the end of February or the beginning of March. The qualified students will then appear for a round of personal interview and situation test. Meanwhile, the institution will announce the final NIFT 2021 result by the end of May or June 2021. Then, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the NIFT 2021 counselling for admission to the desired courses on the basis of seat availability and choices filled by the candidates.
