NIFT 2021 exam to be conducted on February 14, check exam pattern & other details

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is all set to conduct its entrance exam, i.e. NIFT 2021 on February 14. According to the reports, the institute has already released the admit cards for the entrance examination. Candidates who are supposed to appear for the entrance exam can access their NIFT 2021 admit cards by logging into the official portal of the institute. NIFT admit card contains important details such as candidate’s name, NIFT roll number, examination centre, exam timings and exam-day guidelines. The NIFT exam 2021 will be conducted in 32 cities in pen-and-paper mode at the designated examination centres. A COVID-19 negative report is a must to carry while appearing for NIFT 2021.

NIFT entrance exam 2021 is being conducted for admission into 16 NIFT campuses offering various design courses including Fashion Communication, Fashion Design, Knitwear Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design and Leather Design. The institute also offers Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech) and three Masters programmes -- Master of Design (MDes), Master of Fashion Management (MFM), and Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech).

NIFT 2021 exam pattern

Candidates appearing for the NIFT entrance exam 2021 must note that the exam will be divided into two parts— NIFT Creative Ability Test (NIFT CAT) and NIFT General Ability Test (NIFT GAT). NIFT GAT is conducted for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Meanwhile, M Des and B Des candidates are required to appear for NIFT CAT and NIFT GAT both. The institute will be conducting both the exams via offline mode. NIFT CAT will be a two-hour long paper and NIFT GAT will be a three-hour-long paper.

How to download NIFT 2021 admit card?

Candidates appearing for NIFT 2021 exam can download their admit card following the steps given below:

• Go to the official website nift.ac.in

• On the homepage, go to the ‘announcements’ tab

• Click on ‘Admit card for written examination’

• Enter the NIFT application number, date of birth and email id 

• Verify the details and click on submit

• NIFT admit card will appear on a new webpage

• Download the admit card as it is mandatory while appearing for NIFT 2021 exam
