National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is all set to conduct its entrance exam tomorrow, i.e. NIFT 2021 on February 14. Meanwhile, NIFT 2021 admit cards are already released by the institute on the official website. Candidates who are supposed to appear for the entrance exam can access their NIFT 2021 admit cards by logging into the official portal of the institute. Important details such as candidate’s name, NIFT roll number, examination centre, exam timings and exam-day guidelines are available on NIFT admit card. Reports suggest that NIFT exam 2021 will be conducted in 32 cities in pen-and-paper mode at the designated examination centres. Candidates must note that carrying a COVID-19 negative report while appearing for NIFT 2021 is a must.

Sixteen NIFT campuses offering various design courses including Fashion Communication, Fashion Design, Knitwear Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design and Leather Design are conducting NIFT entrance exam 2021. The institute also offers Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech) and three Masters programmes -- Master of Design (MDes), Master of Fashion Management (MFM), and Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech).

NIFT 2021 Exam Day Guidelines 

While appearing for NIFT 2021 entrance exam must note that carrying admit card along with a negative COVID-19 report is a must. Considering the ongoing pandemic situation, the entrance examination is being conducted following all the precautionary released by the health ministry against the COVID-19 spread. Candidates are advised to wear a mask and carry sanitizer while appearing for the exam. While being outside or inside the examination hall, all students and staff members are directed to follow social distancing. Seating arrangements are also made following the social distancing norms. Gathering of students or staff is not allowed anywhere in the entrance exam hall.  

NIFT 2021 Exam Pattern

Candidates appearing for the NIFT entrance exam 2021 must note that the exam will be divided into two parts— NIFT Creative Ability Test (NIFT CAT) and NIFT General Ability Test (NIFT GAT). NIFT GAT is conducted for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Meanwhile, MDes and BDes candidates are required to appear for NIFT CAT and NIFT GAT both. The institute will be conducting both the exams via offline mode. NIFT CAT, as well as NIFT GAT, will be two-hour-long paper each.

How to download NIFT 2021 admit card?

Candidates appearing for NIFT 2021 exam can download their admit card following the steps given below:

• Go to the official website nift.ac.in

• On the homepage, go to the ‘announcements’ tab

• Click on ‘Admit card for written examination’

• Enter the NIFT application number, date of birth and email id 

• Verify the details and click on submit

• NIFT admit card will appear on a new webpage

• Download the admit card as it is mandatory while appearing for NIFT 2021 exam
