The NIFT 2022 entrance exam will be conducted in online, remote-proctored mode. The mock tests will help the candidate become familiar with the new exam mode.
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will conduct the mandatory mock tests for the NIFT 2022 entrance exam from February 1-3, 2022. On the first day, which is February 1, mock tests will be held for the Bachelor of Design course in two sessions - morning and evening. Candidates have been placed in different groups based on their roll numbers. Mock tests for other programs will be conducted in the coming days.
Given the pandemic situation, NIFT authorities have decided to conduct the NIFT 2022 entrance exam in online, remote-proctored mode on February 6. The mock tests are designed to help the candidate get familiar with the functionalities of the new exam pattern.
NIFT 2022 mock tests - Important Points
- It is mandatory for all candidates to take the mock tests
- These tests will help the candidate get familiar with the functionalities of the application and the process.
- A hotline will also be created so that any candidate appearing in the mock tests can ask questions and clear their doubts.
- The duration and questions asked in the mock tests have no connection with the actual exam. This means the mock tests are only a means to check system readiness and to help the candidate get accustomed to the online, remote-proctored exam.
- Invigilators / AI will not block access due to system-related breaches/disconnections etc. during the NIFT 2022 mock session.
The NIFT 2022 entrance exam can be taken using any of the following two devices.
There is no mandatory requirement for the candidate to have a laptop/ pc for taking the exam. Only two devices are needed to take the exam, which can be any combination of the following.
- Laptop / PC
- Android Mobile Phone / Tablets
