NIFT 2024 Counseling - Document Verification Ends Today; Round I Allotment on June 21

The document verification will close at 6 pm today. Choice filling and locking is open till June 19 (midnight). Meanwhile, NIFT 2024 seat allotment for Round I will be declared on June 21.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will declare the 1st round of seat allotment for NIFT 2024 on June 21, 2024. The seat allotment will be based on the merit rank of the candidate and the options selected by the candidate at the time of choice filling. Note that choice filling and locking is currently open from June 5-19. However, the document verification process will close at 6 pm today.

As part of the NIFT 2024 counseling process, the candidate had to get registered and upload documents. The registration process was open from June 5-15, 2024.

The document verification was conducted from June 5-17, 2024 (6 pm).

NIFT 2024 Seat Allotment

The NIFT counseling 2024 will have four regular and one spot rounds of seat allotment. 

The 1st round of seat allotment will be declared on June 21, 2024.

Note that the National Institute of Fashion Technology has revised the counseling schedule. Previously, the seat allotment was scheduled to be declared on June 15, 2024.

So, candidates are advised to follow the revised schedule.

Candidates who are allotted seats in Round I will have to submit their willingness and pay the admission fee between June 21 and June 24, 2024 (midnight).

Subsequent rounds of NIFT 2024 seat allotment

For the 2nd round of NIFT counseling, the candidate can make corrections in the NIFT 2024 counseling cum application form by June 26, 2024 (5 pm).

As part of the process, the candidate can make changes to the academic options (combination of college and course).

Meanwhile, seat allotment for Round II will be declared on July 1, 2024.
