NIFT 2024 Exam Day Guidelines: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has scheduled the NIFT entrance exam 2024 for February 5, 2024. The NIFT entrance exam 2024 will be conducted in 60 cities across India. NIFT 2024 exam will commence at 9 am. Candidates willing to take admission to B Des and M Des courses are required to appear in both CAT and GAT, while applicants of other programs only need to take the GAT. Candidates prepping for the design entrance exam are advised to reach the NIFT 2024 exam center at least 1 hour before the commencement of the exam. After the commencement of exam, the candidate will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

NIFT 2024 exam-day guidelines
Candidates prepping to appear for NIFT 2024 are advised to go through the following guidelines to avoid last-minute hassles:
- Candidates must bring NIFT 2024 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to appear for the NIFT exam 2024. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the design exam without the hall ticket.
- Candidates must carry original and non-expired photo ID card. Photocopies will not be accepted.
- Attach a photograph to the designated space provided on the admit card.
- Candidates are also required to bring an additional photograph to be pasted on the attendance sheet inside the exam hall. The photograph must be same as the one uploaded on the online application form.
- Candidates must report to the exam center at least 60 minutes before the commencement of the NIFT exam.
- Candidates are advised to carry only those items that are required to write the exam as there will be no baggage counter.
- Electronic gadgets, including mobile phones and other infotech gadgets, are not allowed inside the exam hall. Candidates found carrying such items will be disqualified.
- Candidates involved in unfair practices will be disqualified from the exam.
- Carrying a personal transparent water bottle is allowed.
- No dress code has been specified for the NIFT 2024 exam. However, it is recommended that the candidates dress comfortably and decently.

How to Download NIFT Admit Card 2024?
The admit card for the NIFT 2024 has to be downloaded following the steps mentioned below.
- Go to the official website, nift.ntaonline.in.
- Click on the admit card link.
- Enter the following credentials, i.e. Email ID and Password.
- On successful login, the admit card will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and save the NIFT admit card.
NIFT 2024 will comprise of Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT). NIFT 2024 CAT will be held as a paper-based test, while GAT will be conducted as a computer-based exam.
