There are 18 participating institutes of NIFT 2024 that offer a combined intake of 5,289 seats.

Among these, 4394 are All-India seats, 424 state domicile, and 473 NRI seats.

Candidates who are anxiously waiting for the NIFT 2024 admit card can now breathe easy, as the admit card has been finally released. You can download the admit card online at nift.ntaonline.in.

In the log-in window, you will have to enter your application number and date of birth.

If you wait until the last few hours to download the admit card, you may face server or technical issues. And in the scenario, you are unable to download the admit card, you might not be able to appear in the NIFT 2024 exam. So, download the admit card as soon as you can.

The NIFT 2024 admit card will be released online at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT. The admit card will be available in online mode only. To download it, log in to the portal using your application number and date of birth.

There is every chance that the NIFT 2024 admit card will be released tomorrow. With just three days left for the exam, it is more or less certain that the release of the admit card can't be delayed any further.

IIT Bombay has released the final answer keys for the CEED and UCEED 2024 exams. The final keys have been released after considering feedback given by the candidate against the draft key, which was released on January 23, 2024.

The window to submit objections was open from January 23-25, 2024.

B.Des candidates will be shortlisted for the NIFT 2024 situation test based on their performance in the GAT and CAT written exams.

Maths is not a mandatory requirement in Class 12 to appear in NIFT 2024. However, the NIFT 2024 - GAT question paper will have some Mathematics-based questions. So, if you have good fundamentals of the subject, it won't hurt. The GAT paper will include questions from sections like logical and analytical reasoning, general awareness, verbal reasoning, and English.

The seat allotment for NIFT 2024 will be conducted in multiple rounds. In the previous edition of the exam, there were 7 rounds of regular seat allotment, followed by spot allotment rounds.

On the day of the NIFT 2024 exam, you need to bring the following documents:

• NIFT 2024 admit card
• A valid, original, and non-expired photo ID
• An additional photograph to be attached to the attendance sheet
• The self-declaration form duly filled in

IIT Bombay will release the FINAL answer key of UCEED and CEED 2024 on February 1, 2024 (today) at 5 pm; the answer key was originally scheduled to be released on January 31, 2024.

The institute had earlier released the draft answer key on January 23, 2024.

The part A cut-off will include the minimum marks that the candidate needs to secure to qualify the paper. Part B answer booklets will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A.

We have entered February 2024, and the NIFT 2024 admit card hasn't been released yet. Considering the NTA releases admit cards for JEE Main and other exams around 3 days before the exam, it is likely the admit card will be OUT Today!

The application form for the NIFT 2024 exam is now closed. Also, the edit window is no longer available now. The information entered by the candidate in the application form will be take into account when considering seat allotment.

The NIFTs have a combined intake of 473 seats for NRI candidates. Admission to NRI seats will be based on SAT/GMAT/GRE scores.

Candidates opting for the NIFT Lateral Entry Admission (NLEA) scheme will be considered for direct admission to the 3rd semester of a UG program. Candidates who have completed their Diploma in relevant or related fields of Design & Technology are eligible under this scheme.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will release rank lists for the following categories.

The NTA will release answer keys only for the GAT paper. No keys will be released for the offline-based CAT exam.

Please note that the GAT paper for all the programs will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode. So, the candidate will not be able to carry the admit card with them.

By registering for the NIFT 2024 exam, candidates are covered by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). As per NDA, the candidate cannot disclose any question or contents of the question paper in part or otherwise with any person, party, website, or such other media/publication. Any act in breach of the NDA will be liable for penal action as per law.

The recorded responses for NIFT 2024 will be released before the declaration of exam results. The candidate can download the responses from the NTA NIFT admission portal using their log-in credentials.

The scores of the NIFT 2024 written exam will be used to shortlist candidates for the Situation Test/ Personal Interview.

B.Des candidates who get shortlisted need to take the Situation Test, whereas PG candidates need to take the Personal Interview.

However, B.F.Tech candidates aren’t required to appear in any further admission rounds. Merit ranks for the program will be prepared solely based on GAT scores.

The results of the NIFT 2024 written exam will be declared in March 2024. The candidate can check their results at the NTA NIFT admission portal using their candidate log-in credentials.

NIFT results will include details like the sectional and overall scores and the qualifying status.

No, digital copies of the admit card will not be accepted. The candidate needs to mandatorily bring a printout of the NIFT 2024 admit card with them. Also, paste your photograph in the designated position on the admit card.

Further, bring an additional photograph to be attached to the attendance sheet.

Note that the photographs should be the same as the ones uploaded when filling out the application form.

The NTA will release the answer keys for the NIFT 2024 exam (GAT paper only) in the 3rd week of February 2024. The answer key will contain the official answers to questions asked in the exam. 

The candidate can use the answer key to calculate probable scores.

Upon arrival at the NIFT 2024 exam center, the biometric information of the candidate will be captured to do identity checks. The candidates must cooperate with the security personnel for security checks.

The intimation slip is only meant to inform the candidate about the exam city allocated to the candidate. Also, it will not contain the name of the specific exam center. So, no, the intimation slip will not be accepted as an alternate to the NIFT 2024 admit card.

No, NTA and NIFT officials will not have any baggage counter at the NIFT exam center. So, the candidate will be responsible for any items lost or damaged. To be on the safer side, only bring the necessary items with you on exam day.

No, the NTA hasn't yet released the admit card for the NIFT 2024 exam. It is likely that the admit card will be released today, or may be latest by tomorrow.

Once an exam center has been allocated, there is no provision to change it. Note that the candidate is allowed to make any changes to the exam centre only during the application correction window.

You can check the name and address of the allotted exam center in the NIFT 2024 admit card.

The allotment of the NIFT 2024 exam city will be based on the city options and the priorities selected by the candidate when filling out the application form.

Note that the candidate was allowed to select a maximum of four cities. NIFT officials will typically try to allocate a center of examination as per their choice.

The NIFT 2024 question paper will be bilingual - Hindi and English. The candidate has to attempt the paper as per the medium opted by them at the time of filling out the NIFT application form 2024.

• B.Des & B.F.Tech courses - The candidate must be less than 24 years as of August 1, 2024. The upper age limit may be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for SC, ST, and PWD candidates 
• M.Des, M.F.M, and M.F.Tech and Ph.D. courses - There is no age limit.

You must carry with you an additional photograph that you will have to paste on the attendance sheet inside the exam hall.

The NTA will release the NIFT 2024 question paper and recorded responses of the candidate on the NTA website - nift.nta.ac.in - before the declaration of results. 

The recorded responses will be available for around two to three days.

No, the NTA will not send any hard copies of the admit card. The candidate will have to mandatorily download the admit card from the NIFT NTA admission portal - exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT.

To log in to the admit card download portal, use your candidate credentials.

In the case of diabetic patients, they are allowed to carry sugar tablets and fruits like bananas, apples, and oranges. However, packed foods like chocolate, candy, and sandwiches are not allowed.

Yes, the candidate is allowed to carry a transparent water bottle with them inside the NIFT 2024 exam venue. However, note that the candidate will not be allowed to request water bottles from other candidates once the exam starts.

On exam day, candidates seeking admission under the PwBD category need to bring with them the PwBD certificate and UDID issued by the authorized medical officer.

On NIFT 2024 exam day, the candidate needs to bring with them the admit card and a valid, original, and non-expired photo ID proof.

Yes, you need to download the admit card along with the self-declaration from the hall ticket download portal. Take a printout on A4 size paper; it must be duly filled.

Candidates who qualify in the written exams (CAT and GAT) will next have to appear in a Situation Test/ Personal Interview. B.Des candidates need to take the Situation Test, while PG candidates need to appear in a Personal Interview.

The only exception is B.F.Tech candidates as their admission will be strictly on the basis of GAT scores only.

No, the NTA will not conduct any counseling for NIFT 2024-qualified candidates. Instead, the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will conduct online, centralized coounseling for 

eligible candidates.

The counseling registration will open soon after the final results of NIFT 2024 are announced.

The candidate when filling out the NIFT application form 2024 has shared a lot of personal information, including their Aadhaar details, contact address, academic details, etc.

As per information shared in the NIFT 2024 information brochure, NTA/NIFT /Government of India is within its rights to use the data provided by candidate for internal purpose(s) including training, research and development, analysis, and other permissible purpose(s).

 Candidates appearing in the GAT paper are allowed to bring with them a ballpoint pen, pencils, erasers, and rulers; the items can be carried in a transparent pouch. CAT applicants can also bring coloring and drawing materials.

No, the NTA hasn't yet released the admit card for the NIFT 2024 exam. Also, no notification has been released as to when the admit card will be available for download.

B.F.Tech candidates only need to appear in the GAT paper. They don't need to appear in the CAT paper. Also, the final merit list for the B.F.Tech program will be prepared based entirely on GAT scores only.

This means, unlike other courses, no further admission rounds will be conducted, including Situation Test / Personal Interviews. 

Yes, the NTA will release answer keys for the General Ability Test (GAT) written exam. However, note that answer keys will not be released for the offline-based CAT exam. The candidate can download the answer key from the NIFT NTA admission portal.

Hard copies of the admit card will not be sent to the candidate. Instead, the candidate will have to download the admit card online through the NIFT NTA admission portal.

Admission to various design courses offered by NIFT 2024 participating colleges will be based on NIFT 2024 merit rank.

The NIFT 2024 entrance exam is conducted in two stages:

1. Stage 1 - The written exams - GAT and CAT
2. Stage 2 - Situation Test/ Personal Interview 

To fix any discrepancy in the NIFT 2024 admit card, follow these steps:

• Contact the NTA NIFT helpline by mail or phone. You can contact them from 10 am - 5 pm (Monday to Friday). 
• When writing a mail, make sure to mention your application number
• Briefly, but clearly, explain the discrepancy or issue you are facing.
• The NTA helpdesk will verify your details and get back to you. 
• If the discrepancy is a genuine one, the helpdesk will take corrective measures.
• Note that the NTA may not issue any fresh admit cards. So, you may have to appear with the same admit card.
• On exam day, do remember to carry the necessary ID proof and a clear passport-size photograph.
• Correction, if any, in the admit card will be done by NIFT NTA officials once the NIFT 2024 exam concludes.

After downloading the admit card, ensure that it doesn’t have any of the following or similar discrepancies.

The application form for the NIFT 2024 exam is now closed. The extended last date to apply for the exam was January 8, 2024. Candidates who missed the application window will now have to wait until the next cycle to apply for admission.

The NIFT 2024 written exam will commence at 9.30 am. On the day of the exam, the candidate ideally needs to reach the exam center at least an hour in advance. Note that entry gates will be closed 30 minutes before the exam commences.

The purpose of the NIFT 2024 city intimation slip is to inform the candidates about the exam city they have been allocated. The intimation slip is not required on exam day or for post-exam activities. 

The city intimation slip only contains the name of the exam city, along with other candidate information like the program selected for admission, photograph, application number, etc.

The name of the specific exam city will be mentioned only in the admit card.

The NTA released the City Intimation Slip for NIFT 2024 on January 23, 2024. It contains the name of the exam city allocated to the candidate. Note that the allotment of exam city is based on the city and priority selected by the candidate at the time of filling out the NIFT 2024 application form.
