NIFT Entrance Exam 2018 Important Dates & Application Process

NIFT entrance exam is a national level design entrance test that is conducted by National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). On the basis of an aspirant’s performance in NIFT entrance test he/she can secure admission in design programmes offered at NIFT. Design programmes on the basis of which aspirants can secure admission at NIFT are – Bachelor of Design (BDes), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech), Master of Design (MDes), Master of Fashion Management (MFM) and Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech).

National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Exam for admissions 2018 is expected to be conducted in the month of February and the application process for this design entrance is scheduled to commence on October 20, 2017.

NIFT Entrance Exam 2018 Application Process

NIFT entrance exam application process usually commences in the month of November and NIFT exam for design course admissions takes place in the month of February each year. Candidates need to fill NIFT application form online on the official website of the design entrance examination. But only filling the NIFT application form does not solve the purpose, candidates need to ensure that they complete and submit their application form for NIFT admissions as per the date and time mentioned by officials. NIFT 2018 admit card would be issued for only those candidates who have duly filled and submit their NIFT application for admission. In order to successfully register for NIFT entrance exam, candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps and fill all the details as required correctly.

Before filling the application form for NIFT admissions, candidates need to have the below mentioned documents in place:

Step 1: Create Login ID

In order to successfully register for NIFT entrance exam, aspirants need to visit the official website of the design school and create a login ID. Details that candidates need to provide to create their NIFT login ID are as mentioned below:

• Name
• Date of Birth
• Category
• Email ID
• Programme applied for admission

Once these details are provided, NIFT login ID is created. Also, candidates need to note that details provided by them in their login ID cannot be modified at a later stage. Thus, they need to fill this information very carefully.

Once all these details are submitted a window opens on the screen which states that an acknowledgement has been sent at the email address mentioned in the application form for NIFT admission by the aspirant. Further, candidates need to login on the official website using the email ID and date of birth mentioned by them while creating the login ID.

Step 2: Fill NIFT Entrance Exam 2018 Application Form

After creating the login ID, candidates need to fill the below mentioned details in the NIFT application form:

Step 3: Upload Photograph & Signature

Further, candidates need to upload their photograph as well as signature with their NIFT entrance exam application form. Both these files need to be uploaded in jpg/jpeg format and should be less than 50 KB in size.

Step 4: Pay NIFT Admissions 2018 Application Fee

Next, aspirants need to pay the application fee for NIFT entrance exam which they can pay online (by means of Credit Card/Debit Card/Netbanking) or by Demand Draft (DD).

Aspirants who opt to pay NIFT application fee through DD need to make sure that the NIFT Demand Draft is drawn in favour of “NIFT HO” and is payable at New Delhi.

The DD for NIFT application form need to include details such as the candidate’s name, date, fee amount and signature of the issuing authority. Further, candidates applying through DD need to send the printout of their duly filled NIFT application form along with the Demand Draft at the below mentioned address:

Step 5: Take print of NIFT application form

Once all the above mentioned steps are complete, aspirants need to submit their NIFT entrance exam application form. Thereafter, candidates need to take a clear print of the NIFT application form along with proof of payment and keep it securely with themselves.
