NIFT Situation Test 2023 for BDes begins today

The NIFT situation test for BDes programmes is being conducted until March 27, 2023. Candidates taking the NIFT 2023 situation test are required to carry their NIFT 2023 Situation Test Admit card to the examination centre.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will conduct the NIFT 2023 BDes Situation Test from today (March 24, 2023) in the offline mode. The NIFT situation test is being conducted until March 27, 2023. 

Candidates taking the NIFT 2023 situation test are required to carry their NIFT 2023 Situation Test Admit card to the examination centre. Those without the NIFT admit card will not be allowed to take the exam. The NIFT studio test or personal interview for students of artisan design courses and artisans will be conducted on March 26, 2023, from 10 am to noon and the interview round will be held from 2 pm onwards. 

The NIFT released the admit cards for the NIFT 2023 Situation Test/ Personal Interview on March 18, 2023. The admit card has to be downloaded online by entering one's login credentials and will contain details such as name, roll number, name and address of the allotted NIFT campus (or exam centre), and exam-day guidelines.  

The NIFT situation test 2023 is being conducted for a duration of two hours. The parameters to be considered for the admissions include colour scheme, space visualisation, construction skills, innovative and creative use of given material, the finesse of the model, the composition of elements and the overall presentation. 

The NIFT situation test is conducted to evaluate the skills of the candidate in material handling and creativity in a given situation. Candidates must explain the model in English only.
