SEED 2023 Exam Begins Today at 11 AM (Jan 15) Live Updates

• During the Personal Interaction Round, candidates may be asked to draw/sketch during the PI round. So, it is suggested to that the candidate carries with him/her stationery items such as a pen, paper, and pencil. 
• Candidate need to book a slot for the PI round.
• Candidate will be intimated about the personal interaction round through the registered email id.

However, in case of homemade portfolio, the candidate are required to take pictures of the best work, compile it in a PPT and upload the pdf format on the official link. Also, the portfolio can’t be displayed at the time of the PI.

The portfolio should contain the below mentioned details:

• It should be a compilation of the candidate's best works, and showcase the candidate's skills and interests in different fields and techniques. 
• Candidate may add items that may help him/her stand out from the crowd.

• Shortlisting of candidates for SEED, Portfolio Review, PRPI Task, and Personal Interaction- After the exam, SEED result available on the SID website. Successful candidates will have to appear for SID’s Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) round.
• Upload portfolio - Selected candidates will be required to upload their portfolios on the portal a day prior to the PRPI. 
• Perform the PRPI Task - The PRPI task will be released 3 days prior to the chosen date of the online PRPI. 
• Declaration of Result - The result-cum-final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the weightage to SEED, Portfolio Review, PRPI Task, and Personal Interaction rounds.

Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) result 2023 will be declared on the official website of the SET exam. Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will also share the list of candidates shortlisted for the next round of SEED admissions.

SEED admission list 2023 for design course at SID will be prepared based on a aspirants's performance in a personal interview round and portfolio review. Candidates will be able to check the final merit list containing names of shortlisted candidates for admission in design course offered at SID and SSPAD on the official website of SEED exam.

No. work experience is not mandatory for SEED. It will not have any negative impact on the results of the SEED exam. It is expected from the candidates to submit their best designs along with their portfolios.

There are as many as 60 questions of one mark each in SEED exam. The total marks of SEED exam are 60 and one mark is awarded to each right question. There is no provision of negative marking.

The duration of the national level exam SEED is 2.5 hours.

This section involves observing the application of various principles of Science and Mathematics taught at the basic level that is up to class 10th in the daily life routine and activities. 

This section of the paper deals with the ability to visualize and co-relate pictures around us. This also hels to test the ability to recognise a problem and the ability to find a solution to it.

Observational, perceptual and reasoning abilities basically deals with testing candidates ability to see information beyond the given details, relate, make comparisons, form a definite opinions, and draw conclusions. This also related to testing analysing and observation power, expressing views in a systematic order. 

The visualisation part of the SEED exam is about understanding of simple and complex 2D & 3D geometric shapes, and also their manipulations, representations in geometric forms.

SEED syllabus is such that it will have questions related to design topics. SEED exam is held to evaluate candidates on the basis of their aptitude in design.
