The phase 1 of Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction round of SEED ends today. The 2nd phase of PRPI will be conducted from April 9 to 11 in online mode. The final merit list will be declared on April 15

SEED PRPI Phase 1 ends
The first phase of Portfolio Review and Personal Interview (PRPI) for SEED 2022 has ended today. The second phase of PRPI round will be conducted online from April 9 to April 11. Candidates selected for the second phase will be able to upload their portfolio and PRPI task from April 8 to April 10. The final merit list of selected candidates will be declared on 15th April, 2022.
The shortlisted candidates will be given seven days to complete the admission formalities like fee payment and online registration. The period for fee payment and online registration for the programme for the first merit list candidates will start from April 15 and end on April 21, 2022. Candidates on waiting list would be considered for provisional admission in the order of merit depending on the vacancies after April 21, 2022.

SEED: Portfolio Review

Candidates are required to upload their portfolios on the official website. The submitted digital portfolio will be reviewed by a panel of interviewers. This panel will have experienced individuals from the design field. The portfolio may contain:

  • Sketches, mixed-media illustrations and digital work
  • Collaging of images, 2D and 3D articles
  • Photography
  • 3D objects like sculpture, fabric products, gadgets, art-inspired products etc.

SEED: Personal Interaction 

Candidates who get shortlisted on the basis of their portfolios are required to attend this round. In this round, candidates are asked questions related to the programme they have opted for. Also, the panel ask questions about the portfolio they have submitted or uploaded for admission to the Symbiosis Institute of Design.
