UCEED 2023 cut-off marks for Part A; shortlisting of candidates

Unless the candidate qualifies Part A, the Part B answer booklet will not be evaluated. Check how the cut-off mark is determined and its significance.

IIT Bombay will release the UCEED 2023 cut-off marks for Part A on February 9, 2023. The cut-off marks is the minimum marks candidates need to score to qualify in Part A. The Part B answer booklet will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A. To be considered for admission and included in the UCEED 2023 rank list, it is mandatory for candidates to appear in both Part A and Part B.

It may be noted that the cut-off marks for Part A is not the same as the admission cut-off, which will be released at the time of counseling.

UCEED 2023 Part A cut-off - Shortlisting of candidates 

All candidates who qualify Part A will get shortlisted, their Part B answer booklet will be evaluated, and they will be assigned a UCEED 2023 merit rank.

To determine the UCEED 2023 cut-off for Part A, the admission committee will consider the marks scored by the candidate in Part A.

Admission Cut-off

IIT Bombay will release the admission cut-off for UCEED 2023 for all the participating institutes at the time of the Joint Admission Process or counseling. 

The cut-off would be prepared by considering the following factors:

  • The number of applicants
  • The seat intake for the program applied for admission
  • The category of the candidate
  • The merit rank of applicants in UCEED 2023.
  • The college options selected by candidates.
