UCEED 2024 admission open; check seat matrix, reservation criteria

In the previous edition of the exam, there were 205 seats available for the B.Des program. Check institute-wise intake and reservation criteria. The application form for UCEED 2024 is currently open, with the exam scheduled to be held on January 21, 2024.  

IIT Bombay has started the admission process for the B.Des program offered by UCEED 2024 participating colleges. These colleges will take part in the Joint Seat Allotment process conducted by IIT Bombay. The allotment of seats to the B.Des program will be based on the UCEED 2024 score of the candidate and college option picked at the time of counseling registration. 

There are currently five participating colleges. In the last edition of the UCEED exam, they offered a combined intake of 205 seats. IIT Bombay is expected to soon release the updated details for the UCEED 2024 exam.

Reservation criteria for UCEED 2024

The seat intake to the B.Des program will be on the basis of the following reservation criteria:

• OBC-NCL - 27% 
• GEN-EWS – 10%
• SC – 15% 
• ST – 7.5%

In addition to the reservation for the above categories, there will be a 5% horizontal reservation for PWD categories.
