UCEED 2025: B.Des Paper Analysis (OUT), Student Review, Difficulty Level & Live Updates

• Section 1: Numerical Answer Type (NAT): 14 questions (4 marks each; no negative marks). For these questions, an answer is a number that needs to be entered using a virtual keyboard on the computer screen. No choices will be shown for these questions.

• Section 2: Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) - 15 questions. Each MSQ may have one or more than one correct choice(s) out of the four given. The following is the marking scheme:
  • Full Marks: + 4 If only (all) the correct option(s) is(are) chosen and NONE of the incorrect options are chosen.
  • Partial Marks: + 3 If all four options are correct but ONLY three options are chosen and NONE of the incorrect options are chosen.
  • Partial Marks: + 2 If three or more options are correct but ONLY two options are chosen, both of which are correct, and NONE of the incorrect options are chosen.
  • Partial Marks: + 1 If two or more options are correct but ONLY one option is chosen and it is a correct option and NONE of the incorrect options are chosen.
  • Zero Marks: 0 If none of the options is chosen (i.e., the question is unanswered).
  • Negative Marks: -1 In all other cases.
• Section 3: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) - 28 questions (3 marks each for the correct answer; 0.71 negative marks for incorrect answers). Each MCQ will have four choices, out of which only one is the correct answer.

Anuket Singh Chauhan, appearing for the UCEED 2025 exam, rated the difficulty level of the exam 7/10. Maths section, which I am not very good at, I found difficult. Other than that the paper was easy. I found the section B to be easy. The cutoff will be around 100.

According to Avni, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. I found the drawing part difficult. There was no technical glitch during the exam. A question related to the logo of India Post was asked. Expect the same cut-off as in the previous edition.

Ujjal, appearing in the UCEED 2025 exam, said that none of the parts were difficult, all were easy. The drawing section was also easy but the paper was a bit lengthy. There was question where a circle was divided in parts and the candidate had to find the missing number. There were no technical issues during the exam. I expect the cu-off to be around 30 for drawing exam. The cutoff for Part A could be around 90.

The UCEED 2025 exam was held from 9 am - 12 noon (January 9).

The exam was held in 27 cities across India. Part A was held online, while Part B was held in offline mode.

According to candidates who appeared in the UCEED 2024, the question paper was easy to moderate. 

The UCEED 2025 exam has two parts - Part A and Part B.

The UCEED 2025 exam has finally commenced. We at Shiksha.com will like to wish the very best to all the candidates appearing in the exam!

The UCEED 2025 exam will be conducted from 9 am onwards. Candidates who have already arrived at the exam center are probably seated in their designated seats.

The candidate must bring the following items for the drawing test.

The candidate is not allowed to bring the following items inside the UCEED 2025 exam hall.

Make sure that you bring the following items with you:

• The UCEED 2025 admit card
• Valid photo ID proof

The candidate must report to the UCEED 2025 exam center at 7 am. The reporting time, along with exam timings and date, will be mentioned on the UCEED 2025 admit card. Latecomers will not be allowed to take the exam. 

IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2025 exam today (9 am - 12 noon). The exam will have two parts: Computer-based Part Aand Offline-based Part B

IIT Bombay will conduct the CEED 2025 exam also on January 19, 2025 (9 am - 12 noon). The exam center allocated to the candidate will be mentioned on the CEED 2025 admit card.

The candidate must reach the exam center on time.

If you have been allocated an exam centre in a location you have no idea about, it a good idea to do some prior research about:

• The distance 
• Travel time
• Traffic situation

Also, keep some buffer time so that you can handle any exigencies.

If the candidate loses any time for a technical issue, in such cases, the time lost will be compensated.

As per UCEED 2025 exam notification, the time lost due to technical problems will be automatically adjusted in the server.

If the candidate faces any technical issues during the UCEED 2025 exam, they must contact the invigilator immediately.

The exam official in such cases will try to solve the issue, and if needed, allocate a different computer terminal.

The Part A answer booklets will be evaluated only if the candidate meets Part A cut-off. If the candidate fails to meet the cut-off, they will be disqualified.

This is what the UCEED 2025 official notification reads: “The identity of the candidates will be verified by invigilators as well as IIT representatives. If the identity of any candidate is in doubt, the candidate may not be allowed to appear for the examination. However, at their discretion, the authorities may permit the candidate to appear for the examination after completing certain formalities.”

Candidates at the UCEED 2025 exam center will have to undergo a biometric information test (thumb impression and photograph) before appearing for the examination.

Only such candidates who successfully complete the biometric process will be allowed to sit in the exam.

The UCEED 2025 admit card will have to be downloaded through the candidate portal - https://uceedapp.iitb.ac.in/UCEED/home.jsp

The candidate needs to follow these steps to download the UCEED 2025 admit card:

1. Go to the UCEED 2025 admission portal
2. Click on the admit card download link
3. In the log-in window that opens, enter your email ID and password.

IIT Bombay will not entertain any requests for a change in the UCEED 2025 exam center. 

The name and address of the exam center allocated to the candidate will be mentioned on the UCEED 2025 admit card.

The exam timings and reporting time for UCEED 2025 will be mentioned on the UCEED 2025 admit card.

The candidate must report to the UCEED 2025 exam center at 7 am. 

IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025. The exam will held in a center-based mode.

Part A of the exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode, while Part B will be held offline.

The candidate must bring the following documents on the day of the exam:
