As many as 158 students were awarded undergraduate and postgraduate degrees on the occasion. Pranjal Aswal won the Chancellor's Gold Medal.
World University of Design conducted its second convocation ceremony on the Rajiv Gandhi Education City campus in Sonepat, Haryana. More than 100 companies, including Amazon, Ogilvy, Squareboat, Whirlpool, Arvind Fashion, MAX, AJIO, Symbionic, etc, visited the campus for recruitment to pick up students from the campus. Over 96 per cent of eligible students got placed for graduation projects and over 80 per cent received full-time jobs in core design roles in reputed design companies with pay packages as high as INR 16-24 lakh per annum.
Pranjal Aswal was declared the winner of Chancellor's Gold Medal, while Vasudha, Mrudula, Lavanya, Subodh, and Aparna won the University's Gold Medals. The institute has been adjudged an A grade university in outcome-based education by World Institutional Rankings and enjoys diamond rating in mental health and well-being. Placed among top 20 universities in the country in digital adoption and Conformance to NEP by ASSOCHAM, WUD has been enlisted amongst best emerging universities by India Today. The School of Architecture was placed under top 25 by two independent surveys. WUD will be applying for NAAC accreditation this year.
