All those students who had completed their degrees from Delhi University in 2021 will get their printed certificate this year, the varsity said in a statement. Until now, the students had to wait for several years to get their degrees.

"It used to take several years for printed degrees to arrive but this year students will be getting printed degrees in the year of convocation. We have 85,000 degrees with us," DU Dean of Examination DS Rawat said, as reported by NDTV.

In February, Delhi University held its 98th convocation. The colleges have also been directed to depute officials for the collection of degrees.

"Colleges have been directed to take the degrees as per roaster," Rawat said. In an official notification issued on June 10, Rawat requested the colleges and institutes affiliated with DU to depute officials to collect the degrees of their students who have completed their courses in 2021.

Meanwhile, DU has extended the deadline for registration for the centenary chance examination. Now, final-year drop-outs students will be allowed to complete the registration process until June 24. Earlier, the last date of registration was June 15.

In May this year, Delhi University as part of the centenary celebration announced that those who dropped out of college in the final year can register for a one-time chance to appear in examinations and complete their degree. "The last date for registration for Centenary Chance Examination is extended up to 24.06.2022 (Friday) by 5:30 pm," Dean of Examination DS Rawat said in a statement.
