The KEAM 2024 engineering exam is set to take place from June 5 to June 9, with a time slot from 10 am to 1 pm. Moreover, the pharmacy exam is scheduled for June 6, running from 3:30 pm to 5 pm. Candidates have been informed of their respective exam dates through their admit cards, along with the allocated exam venue details provided in the hall tickets.

This year, the CEE is conducting the KEAM exam in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for the first time. To aid candidates in adjusting to this format and to evaluate the exam software designed for the online test, trial tests were conducted on May 25. These trial tests took place exclusively at various centres across Kerala. However, for the KEAM 2024 exam, locations include Kerala, Delhi, Mumbai, and Dubai. The software for the computer-based exam has been developed by C-DIT (Centre for Development of Imaging Technology). Across the state, the exam will be conducted in 198 centres, with an additional two centres in Delhi, one in Mumbai, and one in Dubai.

A control room has been established at the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Coordinators and observers will be stationed at 130 institutions where exam centres are arranged.

According to reports, the KEAM 2024 answer key is anticipated to be published on the same day as the exam, with the objection window remaining open for two or three days thereafter. Following this, the evaluation process will commence. It's projected that the KEAM Rank List 2024 will be prepared by June 20.

KEAM New Exam Pattern

As per the new KEAM CBT exam pattern, this year instead of two papers, there will be a single paper in KEAM. In this paper, engineering aspirants for KEAM 2024 will encounter a total of 150 questions. Mathematics will comprise 75 questions, Physics 45 questions, and Chemistry 30 questions, all to be completed within 180 minutes. Meanwhile, for BPharm candidates exclusively, the Entrance Examination will feature 45 Physics questions and 30 Chemistry questions, to be tackled in 90 minutes. Each correct answer will earn candidates four marks, while an incorrect response will incur a deduction of one mark.
