3 BTech students hurt after car hits them in Noida
While one student received serious head and leg injuries, the other two got minor injuries and were discharged from hospital after treatment.
Three female students enrolled in BTech courses received injuries after a speeding car ran over them in Greater Noida on December 31.
One of the injured, identified as Swati Singh, is a fourth-year BTech student at Greater Noida Institute of Technology. She went into a coma after the accident, India Today reported. Two other students also sustained minor injuries during the incident. They were discharged from the hospital after treatment.
Swati was admitted to the ICU with severe head and leg injuries after the accident that took place on New Year's Eve when three men, reportedly in an inebriated condition, hit the students with their car while they were returning home from market.
Swati, who belongs to Bihar, suffered serious head and leg injuries in the accident. Donations are being raised for her treatment. Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and initiated investigation into the case.
