Engineering admissions delayed!

MP Engineering Admissions 2022: It is likely that the engineering session will be delayed this year in Madhya Pradesh as well. Considering that JEE mains is yet to be conducted and the online admission counselling dates are yet to be announced. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 adversely affected the academic calendar. For the past two years, the authorities have been struggling to streamline engineering sessions. The situation may continue this year as well. According to experts, engineering admissions are likely to begin in August.

While students are demanding Universities to begin admission at least on the basis of Class 12 marks, the authorities say that with JEE mains, engineering admissions will suffer.

Meanwhile, varsities have commenced online admission for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) in higher education for the academic sessions 2022-23 on May 17. The entire process is online and on the basis of the result of the term 1 examination, Class 12 students are able to participate in the admission process, according to TOI.

According to Higher Education Minister Yadav, the amendments have been made in the admission process for the academic session 2022-23 in view of the convenience of the students. He said that the admission process and the process of registration in CLC would continue. Students can apply to a maximum of 15 colleges. Help centres conduct verification process with the help of scanned documents. If the scanned documents are unclear, such applicants will be informed by the concerned college on SMS or over the phone, the applicant will have to attend the college within the prescribed time limit and complete the verification process on the basis of the original documents. Students need not submit TC or migration but will have to submit an undertaking not to take regular admission in any other institute in the online application form.
