AICTE Academic Calendar 2024-25 Revised; Check Admission Deadline for First-Year Technical Courses

AICTE revised academic calendar 2024-25 has been released, following a Supreme Court ruling on September 23. Check extended admission deadlines for technical institutions here

AICTE Academic Calendar 2024-25: The All India Council for Technical Education has released a revised AICTE academic calendar 2024-25. This update follows a Supreme Court order permitting an extension of the admission deadline for technical institutions to October 23. According to the official notification, students have until October 23, 2024 to complete their first-year admissions to technical institutions.

Earlier, the admissions last date for technical institutions was September 15, 2024. The extension of the admissions deadline is not for standalone institutions offering Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Post Graduate Certificate in Management (PGCM) programmes.

These institutions must adhere to their original admission schedules, which remain unchanged. However, AICTE has extended the deadline for lateral entry admissions into the second year of technical programs from September 15 to the new deadline of October 23, 2024.
