The registration deadline for the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) 2025 Phase 1 has been extended to January 25, 2025. The exam will be held on February 1 and 2, 2025, across 138 centres in India and Dubai.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has extended the deadline for AEEE 2025 Phase 1 registration. Initially set for January 20, the deadline has now been moved to January 25, 2025. This extension provides aspiring candidates with additional time to complete their registration for the prestigious entrance exam. The AEEE 2025 Phase 1 exam is scheduled to take place on February 1 and 2, 2025. Amrita will announce the AEEE 2025 phase 1 slot booking dates and admit card release date later on the official website.

The AEEE exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format across 138 centres in India, including the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Dubai, UAE. The exam will be held in three slots each day: from 08:30 AM to 11:00 AM, 12:00 noon to 02:30 PM, and 03:30 PM to 06:00 PM. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will conduct the AEEE 2025 in two phases. While the Phase 1 exam dates are confirmed, the Phase 2 exams are tentatively scheduled for April 2025, with further details to be announced later. The AEEE 2025 is open to candidates who are currently in Class 12 or those who have already graduated in 2024. The exam will cover subjects including Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and English. The updated syllabus and exam pattern are available on the official website. The exam will last for 2 hours and 30 minutes, featuring 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs): 40 from Mathematics, 30 from Physics, 25 from Chemistry, and 5 from English. Each correct answer will earn three marks, while each incorrect answer will result in a one-mark penalty.

Successful candidates will gain admission to BTech programs at Amrita's engineering campuses in Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, and Nagercoil. The admission process involves registering for AEEE, booking exam slots, downloading admit cards, appearing for the exam, checking ranks, and participating in the Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP). Through CSAP, candidates can select their preferred programs and campuses.

Admission to Amrita's BTech programs is based on ranks obtained in both AEEE and JEE Main exams. 70% of seats are allocated through AEEE scores, while the remaining 30% are filled based on JEE Main ranks. Candidates can apply through either AEEE or JEE Main, or both.
