BITS Pilani launches MTech AI & Machine Learning programme; Apply by Sep 12

Candidates interested in the new editions of BITS Pilani courses can apply for the same at the official website, i.e. bits-pilani-wilp.ac.in.

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani is all set to offer MTech Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) programme by the Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP) division. Candidates interested in the new editions of BITS Pilani courses can apply for the same at the official website, i.e. bits-pilani-wilp.ac.in. Candidates must note that the last date to apply for admissions for MTech Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning programme is September 12, 2022.

BITS Pilani MTech AI, ML Admissions 2022: How to apply?

Step 1: Go to the official website — bits-pilani-wilp.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate and click on the ‘programme for individuals’ option

Step 3: Now, click on the link for MTech Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) programme.

Step 4: Click on ‘apply now’

Step 5: Enter details such as email id and password, and click on ‘register’.

Step 6: Click on ‘Fill/ Edit and Submit Application Form’ and enter required details.

Step 7: Download application PDF copy and deposit the application fees of INR 1,500.

Step 8: Take a printout of the application form.

Step 9: In the printout of the downloaded application form, you will notice on page number three a section called the Employer Consent Form. Complete the Employer Consent Form and get it signed and stamped by your organisation’s HR or any other authorised signatory of the company. Do the same for the ‘mentor consent form’ available on page four.

Step 9: Upload all the required documents after self-attesting them and submit the application.

Application forms submitted by candidates will be scrutinized based on its completeness, accuracy and eligibility. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email within two weeks of submission of the application with all supporting documents. The selection status can also be checked by logging in to the online application centre.

Eligibility Criteria

Employed professionals holding BE/ BTech with at least 60 per cent aggregate marks, and a minimum of one-year relevant work experience are eligible to apply. In addition to this, professionals holding MCA / MSc or equivalent with mathematics as a mandatory subject, and with at least 60 per cent aggregate marks or more in their qualifying exam, and a minimum of one-year relevant work experience can also apply. Applicants should possess basic programming knowledge and adequate background in Mathematics.

BITS Pilani MTech AI, ML Admissions 2022 Fees

INR 16,500 is the admission fee for this programme and the semester fee (per semester) is INR 65,500. The programme is for four semesters, with online classes conducted mostly on weekends or after business hours. Working professionals can pursue the programme without any career break.
