There are several engineering entrance exams other than JEE Main that can get you admission in a good engineering college.
Engineering is one of the most sought-after courses to study in India. To get admission to engineering colleges, candidates have to appear for engineering entrance exams after Class 12. As registrations for most of the exams are over, there are some engineering entrance exams that a candidate can take to get entry into a good engineerring college.
OJEE 2021: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) is conducted for admission to courses such as MBA/PGDM, MCA, Mtech, Btech, BPharm, Lateral Entry BTech, Lateral Entry MCA courses. OJEE 2021 is yet to be announced. The registration process for OJEE 2021 began on April 14, 2021, and ended on July 30, 2021. The students who have already filled the OJEE 2021 application forms can edit and modify these till August 17.
AP EAPCET 2021: Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUK), Kakinada, for admission to engineering, pharmacy and agriculture UG courses. AP EAMCET 2021 will be held on August 19, 20, 23, 24 & 25.
AUEET 2021: The Andhra University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET) is conducted by the Directorate of Admissions, Andhra University, every year. Through AUEET, candidates can apply for admission to the six-year dual degree course (BTech + MTech) in the University College of Engineering (A), and Andhra University (AU) College of Engineering for women. AUEET 2021 will be held as a pen-and-paper-based test on August 29. The final date to apply for AUEET 2021 without a late fee is August 17. Registered candidates will be able to access their AUEET 2021 from August 27 in online mode.
JKCET 2021: Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) is conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE). Candidates striving for admission to BE/BTech programme in the government and private colleges of Jammu and Kashmir can register for JKCET 2021. It is an offline test that incorporates questions in the English language only. After qualifying JKCET 2021, candidates will become eligible for admission to various courses under BE/BTech like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering and Bio-Medical Engineering. The authorities ended JKCET 2021 application process on May 10. The official JKCET 2021 exam date has not yet been announced by the authorities.
