COMEDK starts counselling for undergraduate engineering seats
Students will able to do choice filling (in mock round) till October 2 and mock allotment will be held on October 4.
The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has started the counselling process for undergraduate engineering seats. Following the announcement by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) that it will start counselling from October 3, the COMEDK decided to start the first round of counselling. It issued a notification and also sent messages to parents informing them about the same.
There are 18,439 seats up for grabs this year as against 17,407 seats in 2021. In the notification, COMEDK stated that it has rescheduled the earlier calendar considering a request by the KEA. COMEDK has allowed students to do choice filling (in the mock round) till October 2, 11 am. Mock allotment will be held on October 4, 11 am. KCET 2022 revised result to be out on October 1
Meanwhile, as per the instructions of the Karnataka High Court, Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2022 revised result will release on October 1, 2022. As per the revised orders, KCET 2022 results for the 2020-21 repeater candidates will be prepared after deducting 6 per cent marks. Six marks in physics, five marks in chemistry, and seven marks in mathematics will be cut out from the total 100 marks. Once released, candidates will be able to check their KCET 2022 revised result on the official website.
