CUSAT CAT 2024 Counselling: Third Round Of BTech Spot Admissions On Sept 10, Check the details here

The CUSAT (Cochin University of Science and Technology) has released the date of the Third Round of BTech Spot admissions through CUSAT CAT 2024. Candidates will be called for the counselling process on September 10, 2024, on the university campus.

 The Cochin University of Science and Technology released an announcement regarding the date of Third Spot Admissions in the BTech program through the CUSAT CAT-2024 rank list. The CUSAT conducted the Second Round of BTech Spot admission between September 3 to 5, 2024. After successfully concluding the second round, The CUSAT will conduct the third round of Btech spot admissions on September 10, 2024. Candidates can check the details and important instructions related to the third round of spot admission below;

The Venue of the Third Round of Spot Admissions Counselling 

Candidate must reach the venue on the stipulated time on time, the venue is mentioned below;

Seminar Complex, Near Administrative Office, Cochin, University of Science and Technology, South Kalamassery, Kochi – 682 022 

Eligibility Criteria to Participate in the Third Round of Counselling Process:

Given category of candidates below will be eligible for the third round of BTech spot admissions;

• Candidates who did not receive any allotment so far.
• Candidates who have received allotment and wish to change to a different program.
• Candidates who did not register their options earlier.
• Candidates who received allotment earlier and canceled their allotment.
• Candidates who received allotment earlier and were rejected by the Department (not because of eligibility).
• Candidates who received allotment earlier and not remit the requisite fee. 

Important Instructions Related To the Third Round of CUSAT 2024 Spot Btech Admissions

Candidates can read the important instructions below;

• Candidates should be aware that individual call letters will not be sent to participants.
• The registration time slot for the spot admission counselling process will be 9 AM to 10 AM. Candidates must attend the counselling registration within the stipulated time to participate in the 3rd BTech spot admission round through CUSAT CAT 2024 rank.
• There will be multiple rounds in the third spot admissions (depending on vacancy). Admission to all generated/ cancelled vacancies during the Third Spot Admission will be considered in the subsequent rounds. Registration for each round needs to be done when announced during the spot admission process. Candidates who attended the previous round of the third spot admission only be permitted to register for next round of the third spot admission.
• Candidates must check the vacant seats in BTech Programs published on the admission website https://admissions.cusat.ac.in/ on a daily basis,  before attending the Third round of CUSAT CAT 2024 BTech Spot Admission.
• Candidates must know that Candidates need to present the category certificate to avail the benefits of reservation.
• Non-Keralite candidates will not be given the benefits of communal reservation.

Third Round of CUSAT 2024 Spot Btech Admissions: Documents Required

Candidates must bring the following documents in to complete the counselling process during the third round of spot admission in BTech courses.

• Four passport size Photographs 
• CUSAT CAT 2024 Admit Card/Application Form
• Certificate to prove Keralite Status, (State Merit Seats)
• Mark sheet and Certificates of Class X and XII
• Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate (in English version)
• Migration Certificate  (for students from outside Kerala state)
• Character Certificate (if applicable)
• Caste category Certificate (if applicable)
• PWD Certificate (if applicable)
• Sports Certificate (if applicable)
• Two sets of self-attested copies of all the original certificates/documents mentioned above.

Candidates must know that in case a candidate cancels his/her registration or with any other means, a Refund of the fees will be the sole responsibility of the institute and the decision will be final. Refund of admission/ seat allotment fees if any will be governed by the refund policy published on the admissions website https://admissions.cusat.ac.in.
