DCET 2024 Exam Tomorrow, June 22; Check Exam Day Guidelines
DCET 2024 will be conducted on June 22, 2024. Diploma CET is conducted for admissions to 2nd-year undergraduate engineering programmes and 1st-year undergraduate architecture programmes offered under the lateral entry scheme. Candidates can check the DCET 2024 exam day guidelines here.
DCET 2024 Exam: DCET 2024 exam date is June 22, 2024. The Diploma CET exam will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The DCET exam 2024 will be conducted for 100 marks. The DCET 2024 subjects included are Engineering Mathematics, Statistics & Analytics, IT Skills, Fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics engineering and Project Management Skills.
The candidates will be allowed inside the DCET 2024 exam hall from 1:40 PM to 2:00 PM. The candidates cannot enter the exam hall after the exam starts at 2:00 PM. The candidates can check the DCET 2024 exam day guidelines below.
DCET 2024 Exam Day Instructions
- The candidates will be allowed to enter and occupy their seats in the examination hall, upon showing their Admission Tickets and Valid Identity Card.
- The Invigilator will verify Photograph pasted on the Admission Ticket with the Identity Card and the candidate present for examination.
- The Invigilator will verify the Photograph printed on the Admission Ticket and Nominal Roll with the candidate present for examination.
- The Invigilator will distribute the OMR Answer Sheet to the candidates present in the examination hall. The candidates have to write their Name on the OMR Answer Sheet
- Afterwards candidates have to carefully enter the DCET Number and shade the respective circle on the OMR Answer Sheet.
- The candidates should verify the DCET No. written on the OMR Answer Sheet with that of the DCET No. printed on the Admission Ticket.
- The Deputy Chief Superintendent / Custodian will distribute the sealed Question Paper packet to room invigilators in the examination hall at 1.50 PM.
- The Invigilator will open the Question Paper packet and distribute the question booklets in the prescribed at 1.55 PM to the candidates present in the examination hall.
Only invigilators are authorised to open the seal on the Question Paper. - The candidates should carefully enter the Version Code of the question booklet and shade the respective circle on the space provided on the OMR Answer Sheet. They should also enter the question booklet serial on the OMR Answer Sheet and affix their signature on bottom portion of the OMR Answer Sheet.

- Until the third bell is ring, the candidates will not be allowed either to look inside the question booklet or to start answering on the OMR Answer Sheet.
- The Invigilator should obtain signature of the candidates on the Nominal Roll and should verify the same with the signature printed on the Nominal Roll.
DCET 2024 Exam: List of Prohibited Items
The candidates should ensure that they do not carry any prohibited items to the examination center listed below.
- Electronic devices, mobile phones, pen drives, ear phones, microphones, blue tooth devices and wrist watches are not allowed inside the examination hall.
- Taking and eating edibles into the examination room is prohibited, even drinking water bottle is not allowed.
- Drinking water will be provided at the examination center itself.
- Pencil, paper, eraser, cannot be taken inside the examination centre.
- Hat should not be worn on the head.
- Do not wear any type of mask.
DCET 2024: Items Allowed Inside the Exam Hall
Only the following items are allowed to be brought on the day of examination.
- All candidates should take the admit card.
- It is mandatory to take a valid photo identity card from the government.
- Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall till the last bell of the examination.
