DCET 2024 Option Entry Starts; Mock Seat Allotment Result on July 11

DCET 2024: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has started the web options entry for DCET 2024 counselling. Candidates who qualified in the exam can exercise DCET options of colleges and courses at the official website: kea.kar.nic.in. The last date to enter DCET options online is July 11, 2024.

As per the counselling dates released, they can fill DCET choices till 11 am. The Karnataka DCET mock seat allotment result will be declared after 6 pm on July 11, 2024. All the candidates who have been allotted seats can add, modify, re-order, or delete their options. The DCET 2024 seat allotment result will be announced on July 13 after 6 pm.

KEA DCET 2024 Option Entry

KEA announced that the DCET options submitted by candidates for the first round will remain unchanged for all subsequent rounds of seat allotment. They will not be permitted to re-enter their options. However, they may delete options or modify the order of their higher preferences. Additionally, they will be allowed to add new options for any colleges and courses that become available in the seat matrix after the first round.

List of Documents Required for DCET 2024 Counselling

Candidates will have to carry the following documents for verification during DCET counselling:

• DCET Application Form
• Original Fee Payment Receipt
• DCET Admission Ticket
• SSLC/10th standard/equivalent marks card
• Diploma or equivalent marks card for all the years/semesters
• In case the candidate is from Karnataka they needs to show the study certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO / DDPI
• Two recent passport-size colour photographs
• Rural Study Certificate will be required if a candidate claims to be under the rural category reservation
• Kannada Medium Study Certificate to avail of Kannada Medium quota
