Direct PhD admission to BTech students at SR University

Candidates applying for PhD after BTech at SRU must possess a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Achievement (CGPA) of 7.5 on 10.

SRU PhD Admissions: Students pursuing BTech at S R University (SRU), Warangal can get direct admission to the research programme at the varsity after completing bachelor’s degree. S R University (SRU), Warangal, is offering admission to PhD programme after completion of a four-year B.Tech Degree. The decision has been taken following the country’s New Education Policy 2020. However, candidates applying for PhD after BTech at SRU must possess a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Achievement (CGPA) of 7.5 on 10.

SRU PhD Admissions: BTech graduates invited for research programme

According to an official press release, the S R University Vice-Chancellor Professor G R C Reddy said that in line with the country’s new education policy, the SRU has also decided to invite applications from all the eligible aspirants who intend to seek direct admission to PhD programme after four-year BTech from the academic year 2022-23. The application are invited in addition to the usual aspirants, who pursue PhD programme after a Post-graduate Degree in Engineering domains: Civil, Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics and Electronics & Communication.

SRU vice-chancellor Professor Reddy further said that applicants with postgraduate Degrees are also eligible to apply to pursue a doctoral programme in other domains such as English, Management, Mathematics and Physics. S R University inviting applications for PhD programme offers 25 full-time fellowships for deserving candidates.
