DTE Maharashtra counselling for BTech admissions begins

DTE Maharashtra has started the process for BE/BTech admissions to engineering programmes offered by colleges in Maharashtra from June 7. The process is being conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell DTE Maharashtra. The last date to apply and verify all your documents is June 19.

An admission notification released by DTE Maharashtra stated, "Documents verification and confirmation of Application Form for Admission by Maharashtra State/All India candidates along with print of online filled, submitted application form and copy of uploaded documents will be done at designated Facilitation Centers (FC)”.

It’s important to note that all Registration windows at Facilitation Centers (FC) will open today from 10:00 am. Here’s how you can apply for the process:

Steps to apply for Maharashtra Engineering Admission 2018

  • Visit the official website of DTE Maharashtra: dtemaharashtra.gov.in
  • Click on "New Registration" in the Login Links section on sidebar
  • Note down the User ID and Password for future use
  • Fill up the form and upload the documents if asked
  • Take the printout

The provisional merit list will be released by DTE Maharashtra on June 21, 2018. Grievance, if any, for all type of candidates at FC can be done from June 22 to June 23 up to 05:00 pm".

Candidate should submit and confirm the online Option Form of CAP Round-I through Candidate’s Login from June 25 to June 28. DTE Maharashtra will display Provisional Allotment of CAP Round-I on June 29, 2018.

DTE, Maharashtra declared MHCET (MHTCET) 2018 results on June 2 on the official website - dtemaharashtra.gov.in. Along with the results, MHCET 2018 cut-offs too were released. This year, only a handful of students have scored 176 and above out of 200 in the MHCET 2018. Moreover, the highest score in the engineering entrance test too fell marginally to 195 from 197 in 2017.
