In a set of pivotal declarations, the G20 nations have laid out a transformative education agenda. They underscore the significance of foundational learning, the commitment to bridging digital divides, and the support for educational institutions and teachers to adapt to emerging trends.

Additionally, there's an emphasis on expanding access to quality Technical and Vocational Education and Training, fostering scientific collaboration, and enabling lifelong learning, particularly for vulnerable groups.
The G20 nations have collectively paved the way for a brighter educational future, emphasizing equity, adaptability, and collaboration on a global scale, ensuring that education remains a beacon of opportunity for all.

As per a note shared by the Education Ministry, the G20 New Delhi Leaders' Declaration emphasizes expanding access to high-quality Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

The New Delhi Leaders' Declaration adopted during the G20 Summit focuses on giving importance to foundational learning to harness (literacy, numeracy and socioemotional skills) as the primary building block for education and employment.

It emphasizes on the importance of enabling teachers to keep pace with emerging trends and technological advances including Al.

It reaffirms India’s commitment to emphasize and promote open, equitable and secure scientific collaboration and encourage mobility of students, scholars, researchers, and scientists across research and higher education institutions.

The New Delhi Declaration also emphasizes on the importance of enabling life-long learning focused on skilling, reskilling, and upskilling especially for vulnerable groups.
