GATE 2025 Registration Ends Today: Apply Now Without Late Fees

IIT Roorkee will close the GATE 2025 registrations without late fees ends today (September 26, 2024). Interested candidates can visit the GOAPS portal to submit the application form for the GATE 2025 examination. Read below for more details-

GATE 2025 Application Form: The GATE 2025 registrations without late fees for M.Tech, Doctoral programs, and PSUs recruitment closes today (September 26, 2024). Candidates who want to apply can visit the official website of GATE 2025- gate2025.iitr.ac.in to submit their application form. However, the registrations will remain open until October 7, 2024, with a late fee of INR 500. 

Eligibility Criteria for GATE 2025 Registrations

Candidates must go through the GATE 2025 eligibility criteria before filling out the GATE application form, which are as follows -

• The nationality of the candidate must be Indian
• Foreign nationals who meet the required eligibility criteria can also apply for the GATE exam. 
• Candidates must have a graduate degree in engineering, technology, science, architecture, or arts and humanities from a recognised institute or university. 
• Candidates in their final year or pre-final year can also apply.
• There is no age limit or attempt limit for candidates who want to complete the application form. 

GATE 2025 Registration Process

To apply for GATE 2025, candidates must follow the steps below -

• Visit the official website of GATE- gate2025.iitr.ac.in
• Register by entering your name, e-mail id, mobile number, etc. 
• Once the registration is complete, candidates will receive an enrollment ID and password.
• Login using the credentials and provide the necessary details
• Upload photograph, signature, and required documents
• Pay the GATE application fee and submit the application form.
• Keep a copy of the registration form for future reference. 

Candidates who have already submitted the application form can check their GATE 2025 application status using their credentials: Enrollment ID and password. 

GATE 2025 Application Fees

Submission of the GATE application form will not be accepted unless the payment is not completed. The GATE fee payment mode is online through netbanking, credit card, debit card, or UPI. Payments through international master cards and visa cards are also accepted. 

The GATE application fee for SC/ST/Female and PWD candidates is INR 900 (during the regular period) and INR 1400 (during the extended period). For other categories, including foreign applicants, the fee is INR INR 1800 (during the regular period) and INR 2300 (during the extended period).

Documents Required for GATE 2025 Application Form

Applicants must have the following documents ready before completing the GATE online form. 

• A scanned copy of the valid photo identity card (the same ID must be carried to the exam hall)
• A scanned copy of the candidate’s signature. 
• A scanned copy of the PwD certificate (if applicable in PDF format)
• A scanned copy of the category certificate (if applicable in PDF format)
• A scanned copy of a dyslexic certificate (if applicable in PDF format)

Candidates applying for the GATE application form must follow the guidelines and instructions to ensure their application is accepted. IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE exam in two sessions on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
