IIT Roorkee recently expanded the GATE 2025 two-paper combination list for the registered candidates. The facility to add or modify the GATE two-combination paper closes TODAY (November 20, 2024) for all applicants, and on November 22, 2024 for PwD candidates. Check below for more details. 

GATE 2025 Two-Paper Combination

IIT Roorkee added a new GATE Two-Paper Combination List to the existing combinations. The facility allows applicants to change or modify the subject paper based on the choices provided for a specific discipline. The facility will close TODAY (November 20, 2024) for all candidates except for the PwD applicants, as they can add or modify their GATE 2025 test papers till November 22, 2024In two sessions, IIT Roorkee is set to conduct the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, in the morning and afternoon sessions. 

How to Add/Modify New GATE 2025 Two-Paper Combination?

IIT Roorkee announced the GATE new two-paper combination on November 14, 2024. These are in addition to the existing GATE papers listed in the two-paper combination. The step-by-step process to add or modify the subject test papers is as follows -

  • Visit the official website
  • Log in using credentials - GATE 2025 enrollment ID and password 
  • Select “EDIT Paper” or “ADD Paper”
  • Choose from the given options and pay the requisite fee amount. 
  • Once the payment is completed, submit the application form and keep a copy for future purposes. 

Important Instructions While Adding/Modifying GATE Two Paper Combination

  • Candidates who had taken one paper earlier can now add a second paper from the new list at a regular fee with no penalty. 
  • On the other hand, candidates who want to add a second paper to the existing two-paper combinations can do so at a regular fee with a penalty. 

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a reputable entrance examination conducted in India that evaluates undergraduate subjects of engineering and sciences for admission to technical postgraduate programs. This year, IIT Roorkee is conducting the exam across various parts of India. The GATE 2025 admit card will be available from January 2, 2025.
