GUJCET 2025: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board conducts the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) for admission to BTech and BPharma programmes offered by various Colleges and Universities in Gujarat. As per some media reports, GUJCET 2025 is scheduled to be held on March 23. Only those who have qualified in the class 12th exam or are appearing will be eligible to appear for GUJCET 2025.

As per last year, the minimum mark required to apply for GUJCET is 45% for unreserved category and 40% for reserved category candidates. The complete GUJCET schedule is expected to be released soon along with exam time. As per past trends, the GUJCET application form is likely to be released in January 2025.

What is the eligibility criteria for GUJCET 2025?

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) releases the eligibility criteria for GUJCET along with the detailed information handout. Based on previous years' information, candidates applying for the GUJCET exam must be at least 17 years old. To be eligible, they must have completed or are appearing for their 10+2 (or equivalent) education, with Mathematics and Physics being mandatory subjects. Additionally, they must have taken Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science as one of the other subjects in their curriculum.

GUJCET 2025 Application Form

GSEB will release the GUJCET application form 2025 likely in January. However, an official date and time is yet to be announced. Those meeting the above-mentioned eligibility criteria can fill up the GUJCET application form at gujcet.gseb.org. The GUJCET application fee is INR 350. The fee payment can be made online through a credit/debit card or internet banking or any branch of SBI.

Q:   When will GSEB release the GUJCET Merit List 2024?

A:

The merit list of GUJCET will be released by the Academic Committe of Professional Courses (ACPC) in May. ACPC is the organizing authority of GUJCET counselling. The merit list will be released once the counselling starts and will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in GUJCET and class 12 board exams.

Q:   Will there be any break in GUJCET 2025 exam?

A:

The total duration of GUJCET exam is 3 hours and the exam is conducted continuous without any break. Candidates are allowed to enter the exam hall as per the scheduled time and can leave only after the completion of paper. The exam will have a total of 120 questions from 3 subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Students have to answer all 120 questions in 3 hours without any break. Also, there is no separate time for subjects and students can appear any subject based on his/her choice.

Q:   Can the GUJCET 2025 fees be paid offline?

A:

No, GUJCET 2025 application fees can be paid only online. The online application fees can be paid using Credit/Debit card or internet banking after completing the registration process in GUJCET official website. The application fee can also be paid through SBI e-Pay facility.
