Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has announced the HPCET 2025 exam date. The authorities will conduct the HPCET 2025 exam for BTech/BPharm (Direct Entry)/MCA/MBA and MBA (T&HM) on May 10, 2025. The HPCET 2025 examination will be held as a pen-and-paper-based test. All candidates will have to qualify the entrance examination for admission into the participating institutes of the state.

HPCET 2025 Application Form
The authorities are expected to start the HPCET 2025 application form process soon. To be registered for the entrance exam, the candidates will have to fill out and submit the application form before the final date. Only the registered candidates will be able to access the HPCET 2025 admit card. The application fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI.
What is the HPCET 2025 eligibility criteria?
All candidates are advised to check the official HPCET 2025 eligibility criteria before commencing their registration process.
- Should have completed the 12th standard qualifying examination from a recognized board.
- Candidates should have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.
- A minimum aggregate of 45% marks should have been secured in the 12th standard qualifying exam (40% for reserved category candidates).

Q: Will HPCET be held online?
No. HPCET will be held offline i.e., as a pen-and-paper-based test. Candidates will have to report to their allotted centre and attempt the examination in offline mode. HPCET consists of multiple-choice questions that have to be attempted in 3 hours 15 minutes. All of the answers have to be marked in OMR sheets. The entrance examination will not be held in any other mode.
