IIIT Lucknow registers 100% placement, highest package at INR 45 lakh

The average salary package offered to the students of Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Lucknow stood at INR 25.86 lakh per annum. 

The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Lucknow has recorded a 100 per cent placement this year. The highest package was offered at INR 45 lakh per annum, whereas the average package was offered at INR 25.86 lakh per annum and median package at INR 23.39 lakh per annum the institute said in a statement.  

IIIT Lucknow Director AM Sherry said three of our students – Naman Gupta, Shivam Jha and Saurabh Kumar – bagged the highest package of ₹45 lakh per annum from Amazon. 

IIIT Lucknow sees significant jump in salary packages 

An official of the institute said, “If we compare the placement statistics with the last academic year (2020-2021), we will see that there has been a significant increase in the highest, average and median packages, respectively. The highest package received in the previous placement session was INR 43 lakh per annum, the average package was INR 18.42 lakh per annum, while the median package was INR 15 lakh per annum,” an official said. 

Besides, some students have also received internship offers from multinational companies such as Google India, LinkedIn, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Mathworks and Amazon. Major recruiters who participated in the placement drive are Amazon, Flipkart, Acko, Walmart Global Tech, Mindtickle, Intel, AMD, Tekion Corp, Accenture, Zeta and Nvidia.
