IIT Bombay Placement: 1431 students placed in 293 companies; highest CTC offer ₹3.67 crore

Considering all offers accepted at IIT Bombay, the average annual salary for Phase I this year was ₹23.26 lacs (CTC basis).
Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has released report of Phase I Placements (December 1-16, 2022), during this phase as many as 63 international offers were accepted of which 25 were above
Rs 1 crore per annum (CTC basis).
Phase-I of Placement season 2022-23 at IIT Bombay started on December 1, 2022 and extended till December 16, 2022. Including Pre-Placement Offers, the institute witnessed an all-time high number of accepted job-offers in Phase-I this year. A total of 1431 students have been placed in 293 companies. A comparison of offers received and accepted over the last three years is given below:
As many as 63 international offers were accepted in this phase of which 25 were above Rs 1 crore per annum (CTC basis). The highest annual salaries on CTC basis for international and domestic offers were ₹3.67 crore and ₹1.31 crore, respectively.
Considering all offers accepted at IIT Bombay, the average annual salary for Phase I this year was ₹23.26 lacs (CTC basis). When compared to last year, average salaries in Finance and R&D sectors saw a significant increase while those in IT/software saw a reduction. The sector wise average compensation is given below:
