IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi BTech Admission 2025 Application Closes on February 6; CAET Exam on February 16
IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi BTech admission 2025 is open. Indian candidates can apply for admission based on JEE Advanced 2025 scores via JoSAA counselling. Whereas UAE Nationals, International Candidates, and Indian Expatriates need to qualify the CAET 2025 exam. Know all details below.
The IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi BTech admission application form 2025 is available until February 6. Admission is based on either the CAET exam or the JEE Advanced exam. For UAE Nationals, International Candidates, and Indian Expatriates, admission is through the Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET). Indian nationals can get admission based on their JEE Advanced ranks through the JoSAA counselling process. JEE Advanced 2025 will take place on May 18, with the application forms available from April 23. Indian candidates do not need to fill out the IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi BTech admission form; they can apply through JoSAA and will be allocated seats based on their JEE Advanced rank in the JoSAA seat allotment.
CAET 2025 will be held in two sessions. The first session will take place on February 16, and the second session on April 13. The application form for the second session will be available from March 3. Candidates can choose to appear for one or both sessions of CAET 2025. After Session 1, 50% of the total seats available through CAET will be given to the top performers. The remaining seats will be allocated based on the Final Merit List after Session 2. One-third of the total UG seats at IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi will be reserved for JEE Advanced 2025 rank holders and will be allocated through JoSAA counselling. Two-thirds of the seats will be given through CAET 2025 to UAE Nationals and Indian Expatriates/International Candidates.
CAET will be a pen-and-paper exam, lasting 3 hours in centres across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah in the UAE and New Delhi in India. The exam will have one paper with three parts: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each part will have equal weightage. It is compulsory to attempt all three parts. Each part will have 20 questions, so candidates will answer a total of 60 questions.
How to Apply for IIT Delhi ABhu Dhabi BTech Admission
Candidates need to register for CAET 2025 on the official IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi website: abudhabi.iitd.ac.in. To register, they must provide the following details:
- Name
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Password (to create and confirm)
- Nationality
- Place of residence
- Gender
- Date of birth
After registering, candidates can fill out the CAET 2025 application form. The application will only be complete once the fee payment is successfully made. The application fee for CAET 2025 is 100 US$ plus bank transaction charges and any applicable taxes for each session.

The mode of payment for JEE Advanced application fee is online only. Candidates can pay the fee through debit/credit card, internet banking, or UPI.
