IIT Delhi MTech admission 2020 to begin March 2 onwards
The last date to submit application forms for IIT Delhi MTech admissions has been extended till May 10, 2020.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has released the official notification for MTech admission 2020. IIT Delhi MTech admission 2020 application forms will be available online from March 2 onwards. The last date to submit the forms has been extended till May 10, 2020. According to the source, IIT Delhi MTech admission 2020 will be based on the GATE score only. Interested and eligible candidates will have to register for the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) and fill the online application form. Before filling the application form, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria. The allotment of seats will be through COAP on the basis of GATE score in the order of merit. In order to apply for IIT Delhi MTech admission 2020, it is mandatory to fill the application form and register for COAP. While filling the COAP form, students are required to fill their choices of colleges and specialisations.

IIT Delhi MTech admission 2020: Steps to apply
Eligible candidates can apply for IIT Delhi MTech admission 2020 following the steps mentioned below:
Step-1: Go to the official website of IIT Delhi
Step-2: Register yourself on the official portal of IIT Delhi PG Admission. Students will receive their registered number and password via email and message
Step-3: To fill the application form, log in with registration number and password. Mention your course choices in which you seek admission
Step-4: Enter other required details and upload scanned images of signature and passport size colored photograph
Step-5: Make fee payment to complete the process successfully
Step-6: Submit the application form and take a print of the same. No hard copies of the form will be accepted at IIT Delhi office
To apply for IIT Delhi M.Tech 2020 admission, registering for Common Offer Admission Portal (COAP) is mandatory. The institute will do the seat allotment process through COAP only. The college choices ad specialisations are needed to be filled by the candidates themselves while filling the GATE COAP 2020 registration form. IIT Graduates applying for admission need to check the interview schedule and appear for personal interview as per the allotted date and time.
IIT Delhi Mtech Admission: Eligibility Criteria for IIT Students
IIT Graduates or students who are in the final year of their qualifying degree (BTech or equivalent) of any IIT with minimum CGPA of 8.0 are eligible for direct admission in IIT Delhi, without qualifying GATE. These students will be shortlisted based on their graduation marks. Personal interviews will be set for the shortlisted candidates in May and selection will be based on their performance in the interview.
IIT Delhi MTech Admissions 2020: Eligibility Criteria
Students are advised to go through the eligibility criteria properly before applying for the IIT Delhi MTech Admissions 2020.
- Applicants must have passed or appearing in the final year of their qualifying degree programme.
- GEN/OBC-NC/EWS category applicants must have secured at least 7.5 CGPA/ 75% marks in their qualifying degree.
- SC/ST/PH category applicants must have secured at least 7.0 CGPA/ 70% marks in qualifying degree.
- Final year students applying for admission will be shortlisted on the basis of their marks up to the 3rd year/7th semester.
