IIT Gandhinagar: Admissions open for PhD courses; Apply by Oct 30
Selections for PhD programmes at IIT Gandhinagar shall be based on the performance of candidates in the previous educational qualifications and the written test and/or interview conducted by the respective Department/School/Centre.
Admissions are open at IIT Gandhinagar for PhD courses. The application process started on October 6, 2023. The last date to apply for the course is October 30, 2023, up to 5:00 p.m.
"Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to PhD programmes in all Academic Divisions (Departments/Schools/Centres). Applications are to be submitted online through the Application Portal. For details of the programme and application process, please refer to the respective menu items (on the top). Admission Notifications → PhD, Dec 2023," reads the official statement.
Only online applications will be accepted at the official website - https://www.iitg.ac.in/admission. No other mode will be accepted. Candidates need to register only once on the Application Portal. Under the same login, candidates can submit applications to multiple disciplines. However, the application fee should be paid separately for each application for a discipline.
Application fee for female, transgender, SC/ST/PwD candidates is INR 300 and for other candidates, it is INR 600. The institute reserves the right to consider a limited number of eligible candidates for the selection process by setting additional shortlisting criteria based on the performance in GATE/NET/CEED, grades/marks in the qualifying degree examination and/or other educational qualifications starting from Class 10.
Admissions are also open for eMasters, Start Early PhD, Early Admit MSc, and Early Admit MTech. The last date to apply is October 20, 2023.
Applications are invited from eligible final-year undergraduate students for admission to academic programmes beginning in July 2024.
