IIT Jodhpur invites applications for PhD program
Applications have been invited for the semester commencing in July 2023. The last date to submit applications is June 23, 2023.
The newly formed Centre for Education and Technology for Education (CETE) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur has invited applications for its PhD program for the semester commencing in July 2023. The last date to submit applications is June 23, 2023. Applicants can fill and submit the application form online at https://oa.iitj.ac.in/OA_PG_ADMISSION.
The applications are invited from candidates who are working in following areas:
- Technology-enhanced learning and new pedagogies, including blended learning, flipped classroom, smart pedagogy, etc.
- Assessment of new educational technologies: adoption, feasibilities, and impact
- Pedagogy of Higher Technical Education
- Gamification and Game-based Learning in Engineering Education
- Philosophy and Elements of Engineering Education
- Limits of Technology in Engineering Education
- STEAM education in schools
- Education Technology for Divyang
- National Education Policy 2020 (NEP) and Technology for Education
- Quality of Education in NEP
- Educational Leadership and Change Management
- ERP for Schools
- School Management Information Systems
- Cloud Computing Applications for Education
- History and Philosophy of Educational Ideas
- Open Education Resources (OER)
- Distance Education
Applicants belonging to GEN-UR, GEN-EWS, and OBC categories are required to pay a processing fee of INR 300 online, while SC, ST, and PD applicants need to pay INR 150 during the submission of their application forms.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for PhD program at IIT Jodhpur.
(i) Candidates admitted in the PhD Program in regular mode shall not be a registered student in any other academic program in India or abroad, and shall not be a full-time or part-time employee of any organisation in India or abroad.
(ii) The applicant must have a master’s degree in engineering, education technology, pharmacy, agricultural science, science, humanities, social sciences, management, design or equivalent with at least 60 per cent marks or at least 6.0/10 CPI or CGPA for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC (55 per cent for SC/ST/PD),
OR
He/she must have a bachelor’s degree of minimum four-year duration in engineering or science or medicine or pharmacy or agricultural science or veterinary science or equivalent with at least 70 per cent marks or at least 7.0/10 CPI or CGPA for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC (65 per cent for SC/ST/PD).
