IIT Jodhpur, University of Buffalo sign MoU to establish CoE in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science

The setting up of the Center of Excellence in ‘Artificial Intelligence and Data Science’ aims to establish and continue long-term multi-institutional and international collaboration in educational and research fields that are compatible with the orientation and mission of each institution.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Jodhpur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Buffalo on the IIT_UB joint Center of Excellence in ‘Artificial Intelligence and Data Science’.

The setting up of the Center of Excellence in ‘Artificial Intelligence and Data Science’ aims to establish and continue long-term multi-institutional and international collaboration in educational and research fields that are compatible with the orientation and mission of each institution.

Under this collaboration, the two institutes will work on and promote projects that are relevant to the academic, scientific, industrial, social, and cultural interests and needs of both countries. Under this collaboration, there will also be an exchange of students and faculty members for research purposes between the two institutes.

The MoU was signed between Professor Santanu Chaudhury, Director, IIT Jodhpur and Professor A Scott Weber on behalf of the University at Buffalo. The team of professors who visited the institute are Dr A Scott Weber, Dr Paras Prasad, Dr John Tomaszewski, Dr Venu Govindaraju and Dr Mark Swihart.
