IIT Madras: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is inviting applications for Research Associateships in Analog and Mixed Signal VLSI Design in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Interested candidates can apply for IITM Research Associateships online at https://www.ee.iitm.ac.in/vlsi/tiiprogram/applicationform till March 31, 2024.
This programme is a joint initiative by IIT Madras and Texas Instruments India Pvt Limited that brings together expert faculty and a strong academia-industry interface. They must note that the research associates will be eligible for admission to the Master of Science (MS) programme, subject to the norms and admission criteria of IIT Madras.
Who are eligible to apply for IITM Research Associateships in Analog and Mixed Signal VLSI Design?
Candidates with a bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications/Instrumentation engineering (or allied disciplines) with an aggregate of 65% (up to the final semester; if the final semester results are not yet announced, up to the seventh semester) are eligible to apply.
They must also have a valid GATE score of 650 or more in EC, EE, or IN. GATE requirement is waived for BTech students from centrally funded technical institutes(CFTI) with a cumulative grade point average(CGPA) or 8 or higher.
IITM Research Associateships in Analog and Mixed Signal VLSI Design Application Form
Candidates must fill out the application form to be considered for the TI-sponsored programme. They must note that, before filling out the form, they are required to complete the application form to the regular MS programme and pay the applicable fees at research.iitm.ac.in/. With that, they will be automatically considered for the regular MS programme at IIT Madras. While filling out that form, they have to choose EE6 as their first preference for specialisation.
