IIT Madras offers free workshop on AI; apply now
The workshop is scheduled to be held between September 27 and October 1 and anyone can attend it free of cost.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, in association with KLA Corporation, is conducting a workshop on artificial intelligence and high-performance computing technology in semiconductor manufacturing. The workshop can be attended free of cost and anyone can attend it.
The workshop is scheduled to be held between September 27 and October 1. Candidates will have to register themselves by filling a Google form. The workshop will be conducted for one hour every day and details regarding the same will be sent to the registered participants via email.
The topics that will be covered during the workshop are modern artificial intelligence in manufacturing; challenges in adopting machine learning in manufacturing; TensorFlow: The path from model to HW; minimizing copy overhead while sharing GPUs on a single box and artificial intelligence inference on CPUs.
In order to register for the workshop, the candidates will have to fill a Google form wherein they have to enter details such as name, institute name, email, contact number and designation. The organisers of the workshop are Pradeep Ramachandran, director and head of research, KLA Advanced Computing Labs and Rupesh Nasre, coordinator for NSM Nodal Centre for Training in high-performance computing and artificial intelligence.
Meanwhile, IIT Madras has been ranked number one in India in both 'Overall' and 'Engineering' category in NIRF Rankings 2021. IIT Madras had scored 83.88 and 85.31 in the NIRF 2019 and NIRF 2020 rankings, respectively.
