IIT Palakkad to hold Open House on Feb 4, 5

Students visiting the IIT Palakkad campus will get a chance to have a look at the advanced labs and technology facilities.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Palakkad will throw its campus open for the public for the first time on February 4 and 5. The Open House Day sessions will be held on the IIT Palakkad’s Nila campus from 9 am to 6 pm. Students visiting the campus will get a chance to have a look at the advanced labs and technology facilities. Visitors will be assisted by campus guides to get a glimpse of in-house research advancements and lab demonstrations. 

They will also be able to interact with faculty, staff, and students to see how our the Institute community stands out. Learn more about the academic programs, cocurricular activities and social life at IIT Palakkad.  

Techno-cultural fest 

IIT Palakkad will also hold its techno-cultural fest, Petrichor. The event will feature a variety of tech and cultural events such as robo wars, maze runners, dance, music, literary and arts programmes. The institute is also holding a residential science camp for Class 10 students of Kerala and Coimbatore from May 22. The camp will be held in memory of MC Valsakumar, former Physics professor who died in 2019.
